Knowing that my week was going to hold a lot of physical labor (winter deep cleaning of kitchens requires lots of energy) and looking at the cold weather that was headed out way, we decided on warm hearty foods.

I always have salad greens and dressings available to go with dinners if we want, but most of the time we are fine with just the entree.
